oTo-Port™.
Where every tour begins.
Welcoming stores built for guided tours, with a training theater, gear and a launch point. The first is planned for St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis.
Where things stand: today’s tours run on our HumanOnaStick Segway fleet in Minneapolis and St. Paul. oTo is in development, so this page describes what we are designing and our goals.
Step inside an oTo-Port.
An oTo-Port is designed to feel like a stage, not a rental counter. You can see riders setting off and coming back, smiling, before you’ve decided anything. Friendly staff are there to answer the question everyone has, which is whether they can do it. Then you learn, you get fitted, you meet your guide, and you go.
We sell confidence and delight as much as the ride: the moment nerves turn into a smile.
Training theater
Every rider starts with GlideWise™ onboarding before the tour.
Gear and a launch point
Helmets, gear and a place to meet the guide and set off.
oTo-Port™ loyalty
A loyalty and repeat-discount system that rewards riders who come back.
A place to look after you
Water, restrooms, and somewhere to wait and ask questions before you set off.
A home for the fleet
Where machines are parked, charged and looked after between tours.
A local story
Each store’s tours are about its own city: its history, landmarks, people and places.
Part of the destination.
A good tour should be valuable to the city, not only to the rider. An oTo-Port is meant to bring visitors into a neighborhood, send them on to its restaurants, hotels, museums and shops, and create good jobs for the guides and staff who make the experience what it is.
